The Results of Using Formative Assessment Techniques in the Teaching Process

From February 17 to March 22, 2025, the FME(M)-1-22 group has been undergoing a professional basic practice in accordance with the academic schedule. In this regard, the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling at the Pedagogical Faculty named after E. Umetov of Jalal-Abad State University, named after B. Osmonov, organized a webinar to strengthen collaboration and provide methodological support to students.

The webinar, titled "The Results of Using Formative Assessment Techniques in the Teaching Process," was conducted by senior lecturer M.N. Nurmatova via the Zoom platform. The interactive whiteboard "Miro" was used, offering opportunities for both individual and group work.

The event gathered mathematics teachers from schools No. 8, No. 9, and No. 19 in Jalal-Abad, the Innovative School at Jalal-Abad State University, the Boarding School named after Ermatov in the Suzak district, and the School named after O. Atabekova in Bazar-Korgon, as well as students from the FME(M)-1-22 group.

The webinar focused on the practical application of formative assessment techniques and helped students master various self-assessment methods during their practice. Upon completion of the practice, students were assigned to prepare a report using self-assessment techniques.

During the event, students collaborated with teachers, gaining valuable insights and enhancing their professional experience. The webinar successfully achieved its objectives.
