Open Lesson

On October 31, 2024, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling named after E. Umetov, Nurmatova Mairamgul Narbekovna, held an open lesson on the topic "Teaching Polyhedra and Their Surface Areas" for the FMBB(M)-1-22 group.

To encourage students to independently search, think critically, and observe the features of the learning content, the lecture was organized by dividing it into logically complementary components. The "zigzag" teaching strategy, an interactive technique aimed at reflecting on the PRES, facilitated the achievement of the lecture's goals.

During the lesson, the significance and importance of scientific and empirical methods, as well as the methods used in teaching the specified topics in geometry, were analyzed. The "two stars and one wish" formative assessment technique was also utilized.
