“Respect for the Elderly – A Human Duty”

October 1 – International Day of Older Persons

On this day, the lecturers of the Department of Social Work — Anarbay kyzy Aytbu, Nargiza Satymkulova, and Erlan Moldomirov, together with students of groups SRk-2-24 and SRk-01-25, visited an elderly woman living alone in the city. They congratulated her on the occasion, shared warm words and good wishes. They also presented a small gift, which lifted her spirits.

💛 As a result of this activity, the students gained a deeper understanding of the importance of showing respect, care, kindness, and compassion towards the older generation. They learned to pay attention to the needs of those who require support and felt a sense of social responsibility. Such events make a significant contribution to the personal development of young people.
