Guest Lecture by "DosCredo Bank": A Practical Perspective on Marketing and Financial Reporting

As part of the workplace training program for third-year students of the Economics Department at the Economics and Law College, representatives from "DosCredo Bank"—Taalaybek Kazakovich Kazakov, Head of the Operations Department, and Meerim Saipidin kyzy, Card Services Specialist—visited the institution with a guest lecture. They shared valuable insights and practical experience in the banking sector.

The lecture was engaging and dynamic, proving to be not only interesting but also extremely useful. The main focus was on the role of marketing in shaping a bank's market position and the management of financial reporting—key aspects of any financial institution's effective operations.

The speakers provided clear explanations with real-life examples, illustrating how marketing helps banks not just survive but thrive in a highly competitive environment. Topics included brand image formation, attracting new clients, and maintaining customer loyalty through modern marketing strategies.

A special emphasis was placed on financial reporting. Students learned about practical financial analysis, how reports are compiled, and the crucial role they play in managerial decision-making.

"I always thought marketing was just about advertising. Now I understand that it's a powerful tool for strategic bank management," shared Maya Tölenova, a student from group Fk-01-23.

"It was fascinating to hear real-life cases and get a glimpse of how a bank operates from the inside. This gave me a whole new level of understanding of the subject," noted Abdyazym Abdyamanapov, a student from group BEk-2-22.

The event was a vivid example of how theory connects with practice. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, receive professional advice, and see firsthand how the knowledge gained in college is applied in real work settings.

A heartfelt thank you to the "DosCredo Bank" team for their fruitful collaboration and contribution to the professional development of future economists! We hope such meetings become a cherished tradition, inspiring students to pursue their careers with enthusiasm and dedication.
