Financial Literacy and Career

      As part of the declared month of work with employers and graduates, the teachers of the Economics Department of the B. Osmonov Economic and Legal College – A. Kalmurzaeva and E. Kadyrova – organized an important meeting between students and specialists in the field of finance.

       The guest of the event was the Head of the Treasury Department of the Jalal-Abad Financial Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sartaev Aybek Ravshanbekovich, as well as the curator of enterprises in the city, Kamalov Baygazy Shavkatillaevich. Students majoring in "Finance (by sectors)" attended the meeting, gaining the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the real practice of working in a government financial institution and ask questions that interested them.

      During the event, Aybek Ravshanbekovich spoke about the key functions and tasks of the treasury, the peculiarities of financial regulation, and the management of budgetary flows. He emphasized the importance of professional training for future specialists and shared his experience in the financial field. Aybek Ravshanbekovich also talked a lot about the importance of the Budget Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

      The students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about employment opportunities in government structures, career growth prospects, and the requirements placed on graduates of economic specialties. During the conversation, emphasis was placed on the importance of professional development, continuous learning, and acquiring practical skills in the field of finance.
