“FROM KNOWLEDGE TO PRACTICE”: THIRD-YEAR STUDENTS BEGIN THEIR INDUSTRIAL PRACTICE.

         Third-year students of the College of Economics and Law, studying in the specialties “Finance (by Industry)”, “Taxes and Taxation”, “Economics and Accounting”, “Social Work”, and “Jurisprudence”, have been sent to undertake a six-week industrial practice in accordance with the academic schedule for the new academic year.

         In order to ensure proper preparation of students for their industrial practice, orientation conferences were held in a timely manner prior to the beginning of the practice. The conferences were attended by N.S. Zholdoshalieva, Chief Inspector of the Industrial Practice and Career Department of JASU; A.M. Zhoroeva, Director of the College of Economics and Law; A.K. Kalmurzaeva, Head of Industrial Practice and Career at the College of Economics and Law; as well as practice supervisors responsible for the respective specialties.

        The conference was opened by the Director of the College of Economics and Law,  

A.M. Zhoroeva, who emphasized the important role of industrial practice in students’ professional training. She encouraged students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, observe labor discipline, demonstrate responsibility in carrying out their duties, and comply with the internal regulations of the institutions and organizations where they will undertake their practice.

          The floor was then given to N.S. Zholdoshalieva, Chief Inspector of the Industrial Practice and Career Department of JASU. She provided students with detailed information about the goals and objectives of industrial practice, the procedure for undertaking it, students’ rights and responsibilities, labor and safety regulations, their responsibilities during the practice period, as well as the requirements for preparing the necessary reporting documents.

          After that, A.K. Kalmurzaeva, Head of Industrial Practice and Career at the College of Economics and Law, addressed the students. She provided detailed explanations regarding the specific features of industrial practice, the procedure for completing the assignments stipulated in the practice program, proper and regular completion of the practice diary, preparation of the practice report, organization of documents attached to the report, and preparation of appendices in accordance with the established requirements. Particular attention was paid to students’ independent research activities during the practice period, the collection of practical materials, analysis of information, as well as summarizing the experience gained and drawing professional conclusions.

         In addition, the practice supervisors emphasized the importance of accuracy, literacy, reliability of the information provided, and proper preparation of documents in accordance with the established requirements. Students were advised to record the work they completed in the practice diary on a timely basis and to properly reflect the collected practical materials in their reports.

        At the end of the conference, the practice supervisors answered students’ questions and provided relevant explanations concerning issues that may arise during the practice period. The students received the necessary information regarding the procedure for undertaking the practice, preparation of reporting documents, and completion of practical assignments.
