The Republican Subject Olympiad – 2026 was held for students majoring in Law
On June 10, the College of Economics and Law of B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University hosted the Republican Subject Olympiad in the specialty of Law Studies among students of secondary vocational educational institutions.
The main purpose of the Olympiad was to deepen students’ legal knowledge, enhance their professional training, develop analytical thinking skills, and identify talented students.
The Olympiad brought together second- and third-year students from secondary vocational institutions across different regions of the country. Participants included the Finance and Law College of Osh State University, the Humanities and Economics College of K.Sh. Toktomamatov International University in Jalal-Abad, the STEM Applied Professions College of B. Sydykov Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University in Osh, the Multidisciplinary College of J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University in Batken, the Academician B. Murzubraimov International Uzgen Institute of Technology and Education of Osh Technological University, and the College of Economics and Law of B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University. Students from the Law College of J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University in Bishkek participated online.
During the Olympiad, students demonstrated not only their theoretical knowledge of law but also their practical skills. Participants completed test assignments, analyzed legal issues, and solved legal cases, showcasing their level of professional competence.
According to the jury's decision, among third-year students:
1st place was awarded to Nursultan Alimov, a student of the Finance and Law College of Osh State University.
2nd place was awarded to Nurmukhammad Erkulov, a student of Uzgen Law College;
3rd place was awarded to Joomart Moydinov, a student of the Finance and Law College of Osh State University.
Among second-year students:
1st place was awarded to Aigerim Musabekova, a student of the Finance and Law College of Osh State University.
2nd place was awarded to Madina Abdukayumova, a student of the Multidisciplinary College of J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University in Batken;
3rd place was awarded to Bibinur Toychieva, a student of the STEM Applied Professions College of B. Sydykov Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University in Osh.
The Republican Olympiad made a significant contribution to improving students’ professional competencies, promoting legal education, and strengthening cooperation among educational institutions. The College of Economics and Law of B.
