A curatorial hour titled “Unity and Development” was held at ELC

Teachers of the Social Work Department of the Economics and Law College held a curatorial hour on the topic “Unity and development.” During the curatorial hour, students were provided with detailed information about the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, its history, main goals, and areas of cooperation among member states. The importance of political, economic, and cultural relations within the SCO, as well as the organization’s role in maintaining peace and stability in the region, was also discussed.

In addition, students received information about the role of the Kyrgyz Republic within the SCO, the ongoing work on transition to settlements in national currencies, and the outcomes of the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO member countries held in Samarkand.

The curatorial hour was aimed at expanding students’ understanding of global integration processes and increasing their interest in the activities of international organizations.
