Curatorial Open Lesson on the Topic: The Future of Kyrgyzstan and the SCO

A curatorial open lesson on the topic “Kyrgyzstan and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization” was conducted for the students of group FK-4-24 by a teacher of the Economics Department at the College of Economics and Law of Jalal-Abad State University. During the lesson, students received detailed information about the history of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), its main goals, member states, and its importance for Kyrgyzstan.

     The open lesson focused on international cooperation, regional security, economic relations, and cultural interaction. Special attention was given to the key areas of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the SCO. Examples such as the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway project, joint military exercises, and international summits were discussed.

     The lesson was organized in an interactive format, where students were divided into groups and prepared presentations on security, economy, and cultural cooperation. During the discussions, students actively shared their opinions, which helped them better understand the importance of international organizations for modern states.

     At the end of the lesson, a question-and-answer session was held, and the most active students were evaluated positively. The open lesson contributed to broadening students’ perspectives, improving their knowledge of international relations, and developing their analytical thinking skills.
