Kyrgyzstan and the SCO: Its Role in International Cooperation

N. A. Aiylchieva, the curator of the TMk-2-25 Tourism group at the Economics and Law College, conducted a curatorial educational session on the topic “Kyrgyzstan and the SCO: Its Role in International Cooperation.”   The lesson was attended by the director of the college, A. A. Tashmatova.  The main purpose of the lesson was to provide students with detailed information about the history of the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, its main areas of activity, its role in global politics, and its future significance. Special attention was also paid to developing students’ understanding of international cooperation, peace, friendship, and mutual understanding.

During the lesson, students learned about cooperation among SCO member states and the organization’s activities in the fields of security, economy, culture, and education. In addition, discussions were held on Kyrgyzstan’s role in the international arena, the country’s cooperation with the SCO, and the opportunities this partnership creates for young people.

The educational session contributed to broadening students’ worldviews, strengthening patriotic values, and increasing interest in global processes.
