Cybercrime prevention

At the General Education Department of the College of Economics and Law, a curatorial hour on the topic “Prevention of Cybercrime” was conducted. The session was led by the curators of groups Fc-3-25, UТc-7-25, SSc-3-25, Fc-4-25                   M. Zh. Asanova, G.M. Barpieva, E. Kamchybekova, and Ernis uulu A. The purpose of the curatorial hour was to inform students about the types of cybercrime (phishing, hacking attacks, online fraud), as well as to teach them how to protect personal data and follow safety rules on social media. Course of the session: within the framework of the event, students were presented with presentations on the most widespread cyber threats today, and real-life examples were discussed.

During the session, students received answers to their questions. The curators distributed specially prepared cards titled “5 Rules of Digital Safety.”
