General Education Cycle Commission Meeting – New Ideas and Effective Solutions

The College of Economics and Law held the 15th regular meeting of the General Education Subject-Cycle Commission (SCC). The meeting was attended by the Chairperson of the SCC, the teaching staff, and the Director of the College, A.A. Tashmatova. The Chairperson of the SCC, M.J. Asanova, opened the session and introduced the agenda. During the meeting, the following key issues were addressed:

​Discussion of the results of open lessons;

​Approval of topics and supervisors for the Student Scientific Conference;

​Implementation of active learning methods and information technologies in the educational process;

​ Relevant instructors presented reports on the items on the agenda. The Director of the College, A.A. Tashmatova, called for high-quality execution of the tasks and noted that students and supervisors who participated in the scientific conference were awarded certificates and letters of appreciation.

​To improve the educational process and as part of a regular discussion of pedagogical experience, the meeting featured a presentation by history instructor A. Joroeva on the topic "Development of Culture and Socio-Philosophical Thought in Kyrgyzstan." Colleagues actively shared their views and provided suggestions on the subject. Following the discussion, resolutions were adopted on all matters considered, and relevant responsibilities were assigned to the teaching staff.
