Career Guidance – A Step Toward the Future: Career Orientation Activities of the Economics PCC

The teachers of the Economics Subject-Cycle Commission (PCC) of the Economics and Law College within the scientific, educational, and industrial complex of Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov conducted career orientation meetings with graduating students of secondary schools on April 24–28, 2026. The events were actively carried out by PCC instructors E.E. Kadyrova, A.K. Kalmurzaeva, B. K. Kurstanbekova, S.G. Esenova, and Z.D. Irkeeva.

The meetings took place at Secondary School No. 18,  named after Manas in the city of Manas, as well as in several schools in the Suzak District, including School No. 100, named after S. Kazakbaev, School No. 11, named after M. Orozaliev, and School No. 9, named after I. Michurin.

During the meetings, the instructors provided comprehensive information about the college, including its material and technical resources, fields of study, specialties, academic process, student life, and future career opportunities. Particular attention was given to the relevance of programs in economics and law, their demand in the labor market, and the prospects for professional growth.

In addition, graduating students were informed about admission requirements, the list of necessary documents, application procedures, and the duration of studies. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive professional advice and guidance. This interactive format of communication plays an important role in helping young people make informed career choices.

The main objective of these career orientation activities is to assist school graduates in choosing the right profession, guide them according to their interests and abilities, and familiarize them with the educational opportunities offered by the college.
