Open Day: Master Class Held by the Social Work Department of the College of Economics and Law

As part of the Open Day at JAMU, N.N. Satymkulova, Head of the Social Work Department, conducted a master class on the Social Work program. School students and guests took part in the event and had the opportunity to become more familiar with the profession of a social worker.

The theme of the master class was “Empathy is My Superpower: The Art of Helping People.” During the session, participants received comprehensive information about the concept of empathy, its types, and its importance in social work.

The main objective of the event was to inspire young people to help others, to highlight the significance of the social work profession, and to develop empathy skills.

As a result, participants realized that social work is not just a profession, but an important mission of serving society. It was emphasized that every person has the ability to understand others.
