Mastering the Topic “Procedure for Collecting Tax Debt” in the Context of Workplace-Based Learning

Within the framework of implementing the “Quality Education” principle outlined in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, workplace-based learning activities are being successfully organized at the College of Economics and Law of B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University.

      As part of this initiative, the heads of the “Taxes and Taxation” specialty of the Economics department—G.B. Bekieva, Z.M. Akhmedova, and G.P. Salibaeva—organized workplace-based training and provided methodological support to students at the Department of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Bazar-Korgon district.

During the event, students were given comprehensive information on the topic “Procedure for Collecting Tax Debt,” covering the following key issues:

- methods for identifying tax debt;

- procedures for notifying taxpayers;

- legal and practical mechanisms for debt collection;

- issues of restructuring and their specific features.

This training contributed to improving students’ professional competencies, strengthening their theoretical knowledge, and enhancing their competitiveness in the labor market. Such activities also play an important role in strengthening the link between education and industry, as well as in training qualified specialists.
