Work-Based Learning – an Effective Way to Improve the Quality of Education

Within the framework of implementing the “Quality Education” principle of the United Nations Global Compact on Sustainable Development, teachers of the Economics Department of the College of Economics and Law at the scientific, educational and industrial complex of Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov, E. Kadyrova and A. Kalmurzaeva, organized work-based learning for students majoring in “Finance (by sectors)” at Dos-Credo Bank located in the city of Manas.

      During the training, students received comprehensive information on the topic “Internal Control and Audit: Goals and Objectives.” In particular:

- they became familiar with the goals, objectives, and main functions of the internal control and audit system of an organization;

- they gained an understanding of the role of internal control in maintaining financial discipline;

- they learned about the importance of auditing and its role in ensuring the sustainable operation of an organization.

    This format of learning enables students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, promotes the development of professional competencies, and increases interest in their future profession through exposure to a real working environment.
