Fighting corruption is the civic responsibility of youth

On April 14, an important meeting was held at the College of Economics and Law as part of the anti-corruption action plan for the 2025–2026 academic year. The event was attended by Zhypar Sabirova, Chairperson of the Jalal-Abad Regional Court, who delivered an informative and engaging lecture for students. The meeting was organized by G. Donoeva, Head of the Law Department, and was conducted at a high level. During the lecture, Zhypar Sabirova explained in detail the negative impact of corruption on society, emphasizing the importance and urgency of combating it. She encouraged students to uphold the rule of law, value justice, and develop a strong sense of civic responsibility. The lecture was interactive, allowing students to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers.

Afterward, the guest met with the college’s faculty members, where she shared valuable insights and recommendations on strengthening anti-corruption efforts. This meeting provided a useful platform for exchanging professional and legal experience.

The main goal of the event was to enhance the legal awareness of students and teachers, foster a strong anti-corruption mindset, and promote the importance of adhering to the rule of law. Additionally, it aimed to instill values of honesty, fairness, and civic responsibility among young people.

As a result, the event achieved its objectives and left a strong impression on the participants. Students gained a deeper understanding of the importance of fighting corruption and recognized their civic responsibility.
