In order to enhance workplace-based learning, the heads of the “Finance (by sectors)” program at the College of Economics and Law, Z. Akhmedova and G. Bekieva, visited the microcredit company “Bailyk Finance” located in the city of Manas. During the training, the participants were introduced to the ownership structure and legal framework of the company’s operations:

- general characteristics of the organization;

- main areas of activity;

- organizational and legal form as well as ownership type;

- key regulatory documents governing the activity (Charter, Labor Code, Tax Code, etc.).

        In addition, students were provided with comprehensive information about the operating mechanisms of a microcredit company, client interaction procedures, and the stages of the lending process. Company specialists explained the procedures for reviewing, evaluating, and issuing loans, as well as methods of financial risk management. Based on practical examples, students acquired basic skills in working with financial documents, assessing clients’ creditworthiness, and monitoring the loan portfolio. This contributed to strengthening their theoretical knowledge and provided valuable experience for their future professional careers.
