Preparation for Practice: An Introductory Academic Orientation Conference for Students

An Introductory Academic  orientation conference was held at the College of Economics and Law for students of the “Social Work” speciality  (groups SRk-2-24 and SRk-01-25) in preparation for their introductory internship. The main purpose of the conference was to familiarize students with the content, requirements, and objectives of the upcoming internship. The conference was attended by the college director, Ainagul Tashmatova, the Head of Industrial Practice and Career Development, Nazgul Ayylchieva, as well as instructors of the SCC of Social Work, Anarbay kyzy Aitbu and Erlan Moldomirov. During the conference, students were provided with detailed information about the goals and objectives of the internship, its procedures, and expected outcomes. Special attention was given to the introduction of occupational health and safety regulations. In addition, guidelines on preparing reports, maintaining internship journals, and following discipline were explained. The conference was conducted in an interactive format, allowing students to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers from the specialists. Issues related to internship placements, communication with supervisors, and student responsibilities were also discussed. At the end of the conference, students expressed their readiness for the internship and noted that the information received would serve as a solid foundation for developing their professional skills.
