The Head of Practice and Career of SCC of the Social Work at the College of Economics and Law, Anarbai kyzy Aitbu, conducted an interview with SRk-2-22 group graduate Klara Bazargaeva. The goal is to show the specialty’s specifics and practical experience from the graduate’s perspective.

– Anarbai kyzy Aitbu: Klara, could you tell us a little about yourself?

Klara: My name is Klara Bazargaeva, a graduate of group SRk-2-22. I currently work as a laboratory assistant at the College of Economics and Law. I am also a second-year part-time student at JASU majoring in Social Work.

– Anarbai kyzy Aitbu: How do you feel about your chosen specialty?

Klara: I feel very positive about it. Social Work is a profession that involves helping people, understanding their problems, and providing support.

– Anarbai kyzy Aitbu: Do the knowledge and skills you gained during your studies help you in your job?

Klara: Yes, they do. Theoretical knowledge and practical experience are very useful. Patience and effective communication are especially important.

– Anarbai kyzy Aitbu: What experience did you gain during your practical training?

Klara: During practice, we worked with different people, learned to listen to them, and provide support. It was one of the most valuable stages of our education.

– Anarbai kyzy Aitbu: What do you think is the uniqueness of this specialty?

Кlara: The uniqueness of this profession is that social workers can work in different organizations and institutions. Kindness, understanding, and responsibility are essential qualities.

– Anarbai kyzy Aitbu: Do you have any suggestion for the specialty’s future?

Klara: Currently, social workers cannot work as school social pedagogues. I suggest adding “Social Pedagogue” as a specialization on the diploma. This would create new opportunities for work and expand the future prospects of the specialty.

– Anarbai kyzy Aitbu: What advice would you give to students?

Klara: Love your profession and make the most of practice opportunities, as the knowledge gained will definitely be useful in the future.
