Cooperation with Employers as an Important Factor in Training Qualified Specialists

A meeting–discussion with employers was organized at the College of Economics and Law for the specialty Law . The meeting was attended by the Head of the Public Security Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Manas, Police Captain Urkumbaev Amangeldi Altybaevich, as well as the Head of Industrial Practice and Career Development of the college N. Aiylchieva and the Practice Supervisor for the specialty Law B. Jusupbekova.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the state internship of students majoring in Law at the College of Economics and Law, as well as to evaluate the level of their professional knowledge and their ability to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in practical activities. In addition, special attention was given to graduates’ ability to quickly adapt to new working conditions, their ability to perform job duties independently, their communication skills, discipline, diligence, and the employer’s opinion on these aspects.

During the discussion, Urkumbaev Amangeldi Altybaevich noted that the practice supervisors of the educational institution actively cooperate with various institutions and organizations. According to him, monitoring the activities of each intern and conducting preliminary organizational work make a significant contribution to training highly qualified specialists.

Answering the questions, he also emphasized that the practical training of the college students and their responsible attitude toward work are generally assessed as satisfactory.

Such meetings help strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and employers, as well as improve the quality of professional training of future specialists.
