Meeting Held at the College of Economics and Law

A meeting was held at the College of Economics and Law of to familiarize second-year students with the Regulations on the Summer Semester.

The meeting was conducted by the College Director, A.A. Tashmatova, who provided detailed information about the main goals and objectives of the Summer Semester. The Regulations were developed to improve the quality of the educational process, foster students’ responsible attitude toward all types of academic activities, fully meet citizens’ educational needs, and prevent the accumulation of academic debts among students studying under the credit system.

The meeting was attended by the Chair of the Economics Program Committee, Z.M. Akhmedova; the Chair of the Law Program Committee, G.A. Donoeva; and the Deputy Director for Educational, Social, and Student Affairs, A.K. Kurmanbekova. They answered students’ questions.

It was noted that the Summer Semester is organized at the initiative of the college administration and students. It lasts 2–4 weeks and includes intensive review classes using an “immersion” method in one or two disciplines per week. The training is conducted in accordance with the credit system regulations, after which students take exams and are given the opportunity to eliminate their academic debts.

During the meeting, students were provided with detailed information about the advantages of the Summer Semester, the study procedures, and participation requirements.
