Mother Tongue – The Pride of the Nation: Festive Event at the College

A solemn curatorial hour dedicated to International Mother Language Day (February 21) was held at the College of Economics and Law. The event was organized by instructors of the "Jurisprudence" department, G.A. Donoeva and D.K. Satarova.

Main Objective: To instill in the younger generation a love for their mother tongue, a respect for national values, and a sense of responsibility in preserving their linguistic heritage.

Event Highlights:

  • Language Insights: Presentations on the global status of languages and the official status of the Kyrgyz language.
  • Poetry Recitation: Students performed expressive readings of poems by great authors dedicated to the motherland and its language.
  • Interactive Games: Engaging quizzes focused on proverbs, idioms, and linguistic richness.
  • Video Presentation: Visual showcases reflecting the history and significance of the mother tongue.

The organizers stated: "Language is the soul of a nation. For future legal professionals, the ability to express thoughts clearly and eloquently in one's mother tongue is both a vital skill and a duty."
