If the language is lost, people are lost

An open lesson on the topic "If the language disappears, the people will disappear" was held in the 1st year groups of the Pccs of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Defense for the World Mother Tongue Day on February 21. The lesson emphasized the need to preserve the native language for each person.

UNESCO celebrates International Mother Tongue Day on February 21.

This day was declared by UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in 1999, and since then it has been celebrated annually in order to improve cultural and linguistic richness.

Currently, there are more than 6,700 languages registered in the world. But scientists also express concern about the disappearance of one language every 14 days. These languages are disappearing due to the fact that the last of the few who speak this language are leaving the world. If you sit like this, it is likely that by the end of this century, half of all the languages in the world will be in danger of extinction. That's why the legacy that has come down to us.
