Open Lessons Held as Part of the “Manas Studies” Week at EUK

From February 9 to 13, 2026, EUK hosted the Week of the “Manas Studies” discipline. As part of the event, instructor N. Sadyrova conducted open lessons for student groups at a high organizational and methodological level. The main objective of the week was to increase students’ interest in national values, deepen their understanding of the spiritual heritage of the Kyrgyz people, and develop their creative abilities.

The lessons were devoted to the great epic — Manas, focusing on its ideological and artistic content, historical and philosophical significance, and educational value. Students analyzed the main characters, discussed their patriotism, moral qualities, and their role in preserving national unity. Particular attention was paid to Manas as a symbol of courage, unity, and devotion to the homeland.

The open lessons incorporated interactive teaching methods, including group discussions, intellectual Q&A games, dramatizations, and presentations. Students recited excerpts from the epic expressively, demonstrating creativity and a deep understanding of the text. These approaches enhanced student engagement and contributed to the effectiveness of the learning process.

Throughout the week, the importance of the “Manas Studies” discipline in fostering national identity and respect for the historical and cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people was strongly emphasized. The event made a meaningful contribution to students’ moral development and to improving the overall quality of education.
