International Educational Cooperation: Meeting with Chinese Representatives

On January 23, the College of Economics and Law hosted a working visit from Hao Zhou, Director for Overseas Business in Central Asian countries, and Tan Xinyuy, manager of the same company, from Wuhan, People's Republic of China.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss prospects for academic mobility of the college's faculty and students, exchange of experience, development of international cooperation in education, and opportunities for implementing joint educational projects. During the visit, the guests toured the college's academic building, attended classes by individual instructors, and interacted with students studying Chinese.

The parties paid special attention to issues of internships for students and faculty at Chinese educational institutions, implementation of short-term training programs, organization of summer vacations for students, conducting joint seminars and trainings, and applying international experience in training specialists in economics and law. Additionally, a separate meeting was held with college students studying Chinese. The meeting was deemed beneficial and productive for both sides. Proposals were made to further strengthen mutual cooperation and implement specific initiatives in the future.
