    Aitmatov — A Voice Echoing from Ala-Too to the Whole World”

    On December 12, 2025, a cultural event titled “Aitmatov — A Voice Echoing from Ala-Too to the Whole World”, dedicated to the birthday of the great Kyrgyz writer and public figure Chingiz Torekulovich Aitmatov, was held at a high level at the College of Economics and Law of Jalal-Abad State University named after Bekmamat Osmonov.

    The event was organized by Z.M. Akhmedova, Chairperson of the Subject-Cycle Commission of Economics, along with lecturers A.Zh. Aidarbekova and A.K. Kurmanbekova.

   The cultural event was attended by U.T. Kaikyeyeva, Specialist in the State Language and Language Policy of Jalal-Abad State University named after Bekmamat Osmonov, A.A. Tashmatova, Director of the College of Economics and Law, as well as faculty members of the college.

   During the event, students of the Subject-Cycle Commission of Economics presented dramatized excerpts from the works of Chingiz Aitmatov, literary readings, and poetic performances, thereby expressing deep respect for the creative legacy of the great writer. In addition, the students enriched the event by performing traditional Kyrgyz dances and songs, adding a special solemn atmosphere and national color to the program.

  The guests highly praised the students’ creative performances, emphasizing that such cultural events play an important role in the spiritual and moral education of young people and contribute to the promotion and preservation of the great literary heritage of Chingiz Aitmatov.

   In her speech, Ulpаt Tagaevna Kaikyeyeva, Specialist in the State Language and Language Policy of Jalal-Abad State University, подчеркнула, что мероприятие прошло на высоком уровне, а также выразила удовлетворение тем, что современная молодёжь не забывает произведения Чингиза Айтматова и продолжает их изучать и прославлять.

   This cultural event contributed to the wider promotion of the great writer’s works among the younger generation and helped deepen their understanding of his rich spiritual legacy.
