Practical Lesson at the Manas City Statistics Department

On December 4, 2025, the lecturer of the Economics Methodological Commission (PTsK), Ashyrbaeva S.Y., conducted a practical lesson on the discipline "Statistics" for the students of group SSk-2-24 at the Manas City Statistics Department.

The session, designated in the curriculum as work-based learning, covered the topics: "Activities of the National Statistics Committee" and "Methods of Statistical Data Collection."

· Atantaeva Jamilya Myrzageldyevna, the leading specialist of the department, provided a detailed presentation, including a computer demonstration, on the National Statistics Committee's policy regarding the transition to electronic work format, methods of statistical data collection, and current activities.

· Ergeshova Meerim Turgunbekovna, the chief specialist of the Manas City Statistics Office, shared interesting information on the collection, systematization, and analysis of data in the education sector, specifically demonstrating statistical reports from preschool institutions.

Concluding the lesson, Ashyrbaeva S.Y. compared and explained the theoretical knowledge on statistical data collection learned in college with the actual statistical report forms. The students showed great enthusiasm for this practical experience.
