“A Day in the Bank: Real-World Experience for Future Finance Specialists”

      At the College of Economics and Law, workplace-based learning is being actively implemented, with special attention given to increasing students’ interest in their future profession. As part of this initiative, the instructors of the “Economics” Department for the “Finance (by sectors)” specialty, E. Kadyrova and A. Kalmyrzayeva, organized a workplace training session at the Dos-Credo Bank branch in the city of Manas.

      The purpose of the session was to introduce students to the internal processes of banking operations and provide them with practical experience. The Head of the Customer Service Department, Kazakov Taalaybek Kazakovich, gave the students a clear and comprehensive explanation of the requirements of a real working environment, professional responsibilities, and modern technologies.

       In his presentation, Taalaybek Kazakovich highlighted several important aspects:

-  types of computer programs used in institutions and organizations — their functions, operating logic, and impact on daily practice;

- automated systems for document management and accounting — their advantages in saving time, increasing accuracy, and reducing human error;

- the range of software used by organizations (accounting, HR, financial, and document management systems) and their role in business processes;

 - procedures for registering, transferring, and archiving electronic documents — essential steps every institution must know in the digital era.

       The session proved extremely valuable for the students, significantly strengthening their professional readiness and helping them understand how complex and detail-oriented banking work can be — from internal mechanisms and software to document management procedures.
