We Are Against AIDS

On November 29, 2025, at the College of Economics and Law, the general education PCK instructor M.Zh. Asanova conducted an event titled “We Are Against AIDS” with the participation of groups SRk-2-25 and SRk-3-25.  

The event was opened by the director of ELC, A.A. Tashmatova, who highlighted the following:  

Today, we have gathered to commemorate December 1 - World AIDS Day. This day is observed in all countries to raise awareness, promote prevention, and strengthen the culture of health protection.  

AIDS is not just a medical issue - it is a common problem that requires responsibility from every member of society. The goal of today’s event is to spread accurate information about HIV/AIDS, dispel myths, and enhance our sense of responsibility for our own and others’ health.  

Our main task is to develop a culture of safe behavior and respect for oneself and others. Promoting respect, compassion, and support for people living with HIV is also a vital demand of our time. The students prepared videos, questionnaires, wall newspapers, and poems. Everything was held at a very high level.
