Academic Mobility Meeting and Guest Lecture Held at the College of Economics and Law

The College of Economics and Law hosted a series of activities aimed at strengthening academic mobility. In the first part, the college director Ainagul Akylbekovna met with representatives of the Osh Industrial-Pedagogical College of Osh State University, introduced them to the academic environment, facilities, and curriculum. The meeting focused on discussing study programs and expanding cooperation in academic mobility.

In the second part, the Cycle Subject Commission of the Social Work organized a guest lecture delivered by Kyzzhibek Kudaibergenovna Temirova, lecturer of the Social Work cycle at the Osh Industrial-Pedagogical College. Students of group SRk-2-24 participated in the session.

Topics of the guest lectures:

1. “Social Work Practice in Educational Institutions”

Topic: Socialization as a socio-pedagogical phenomenon.

Objective: to explain the essence, stages, and pedagogical significance of socialization.

2. “History and Theory of Social Work”

Topic: Theoretical and methodological foundations of social work.

Objective: to deepen students’ understanding of theories, models, and methodological approaches in social work.

Learning outcomes — what students gained:

understood the role and mechanisms of socialization in society and education;

learned key theoretical models of social work and their practical relevance;

gained deeper insight into the functions of social workers and socio-pedagogical methods;

improved analytical abilities and capacity to apply theory to real situations;

strengthened motivation and professional interest in the field of social work.
