Working Meeting on Enhancing the Internship Program for Finance Students

     On November 5, 2025, lecturers of the Economics Department at the College of Economics and Law, E. Kadyrova and A. Kalmurzayeva, held a meeting to review the core educational program in  Finance, the graduate competency model, and the internship curriculum.

     The meeting aimed to align the internship program with the practical operations of financial institutions and enterprises, while improving students’ professional skills to better meet current labor market expectations.

     The event gathered the Head of the Treasury Division of the Manas City Financial Department under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aybek Ravshanbekovich Sartbaev; the Head of the Manas Branch of Optima Bank, Zharkynbek Mamazakirovich Paizov; and the Head of the Customer Service Department at the Manas Branch of Dos-Credo Bank, Taalay Kazakovich Kazakov.

    During the discussion, participants proposed revising several sections of the internship curriculum, especially those involving confidential data, and recommended that students supplement their learning with open information available on the official websites of partner organizations.

      At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties emphasized the significance of strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and employers, ensuring that students acquire relevant practical experience and a deeper understanding of real-world financial processes.
