Jalal-Abad State University named after Bekmamat Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University (JAGU) successfully hosted its latest "Open Door Day" for high school graduates and prospective students. The primary goal of the event was to introduce students to the diverse professions offered at the college and to inspire them through the world of creative arts.

The event kicked off with a comprehensive presentation on the college's history, its various departments, and available specialties. Students engaged in lively Q&A sessions, gaining valuable insights into the advantages of campus life and the enrollment process.

Applied Arts Exhibition

A highlight of the day was the Handicrafts Exhibition, featuring exquisite works created by our talented students and faculty members. The display showcased a unique blend of national traditions and modern design, earning high praise and admiration from all visitors.

Interactive Masterclasses

Prospective students had the opportunity to move beyond observation and test their skills through hands-on activities:

- Fine Arts: During this masterclass, students discovered the secrets of brushwork, explored color theory, and practiced the fundamentals of artistic composition.

- Garment Modeling (Draping Technique): For those passionate about fashion, an exclusive session was held on the draping method (nakolka), showing how to create garment silhouettes directly on a mannequin using fabric and pins.

The enthusiasm shown by the students was a huge inspiration for us. They were highly engaged, asking insightful questions and trying to replicate every technique we demonstrated. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our passion for the craft with the next generation".
