Meeting with Energy Graduates: Discussion of Curriculum and Professional Training

A meeting with graduates of the 2024–2025 academic year of the “Energy and Electrical Equipment Operation” department of Jalal-Abad College was held at the Advanced Experience Center.

The event was attended by graduates of the “Power Supply” specialty — leading inspector of the “Manas Electric Energy Sales Enterprise” Muратбекov Zhanibek Zhumalyievich and electrical technician of the ETL department of “Manas RET” enterprise, Saparali uulu Ulukbek.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the new curriculum, review the concept of the “graduate model,” and collect feedback on the basic professional educational program (BPEP).

During the meeting, graduates shared their experiences in education, practical training, and challenges in employment.

They also made suggestions regarding the modular and examination systems. In their opinion, some subjects are better assessed through traditional oral or ticket-based examinations. This approach helps students express their thoughts more clearly and fully, while also improving their speech culture and vocabulary.

In addition, graduates noted that during industrial practice and employment, safety examinations are often conducted in ticket-based format. Therefore, applying the same approach in the learning process may improve students’ professional readiness.

As a result of the meeting, several proposals were developed to improve the educational program, strengthen practice-oriented training, and enhance students’ professional competencies.

Such events contribute to improving the quality of education and increasing graduates’ competitiveness in the labor market.
