MEETING WITH PARENTS OF 1ST YEAR STUDENTS IN THE DIRECTION OF ELECTRIC POWER AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (ES-1-25 group)
On September 23, 2025, a meeting with parents was held at the Department of Electrical Power and Mechanics of ATI.
The purpose of the meeting:
• To explain the activities of the department, the teaching staff and the conditions for studying for students;
• To acquaint parents with the features of the educational process;
• To demonstrate the capabilities of the AVN portal (grades, assignments, class attendance, results of modules, exams, etc.);
• To discuss the issue of respect for students' religious views and tolerance;
• To strengthen close ties between the department and parents.
There are a total of 16 students in the ES-1-25 group. Of these, 14 students are studying on a budget basis, and 2 students are studying on a contract basis. Parents of 12 students came to attend.
In accordance with the above goal, the head of the department, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor K.A. Kokumbaeva, introduced parents to the teachers of the department, their activities, and the learning conditions created for students. Information was provided about the regulations on the organization of the educational process in higher vocational education institutions on credit technology, the module, and the conditions of the exam.
Curator A. Turdukulova gave detailed information on working with the AVN portal and said that through this portal parents can receive information about their child's participation and achievements, and in case of a problem, they should contact the curator.
The faculty of the department: Zh. Shamiev, A. Koshbaev, Z. Tashiev, M. Kochkorova also expressed their thoughts on the above and thanked the parents who came.
On the last topic “Religious Tolerance and Respect”, an open microphone was organized, and a heated discussion took place between parents and teachers. On the basis of this, agreements were also reached on the behavior and dress of students.
Such meetings provide a great opportunity to establish close contact with parents and have a positive impact on students' achievements and behavior in public.
Finally, the following decision was made as a result of the meeting, after which the following was expressed in gratitude to the parents:
1. Parents got acquainted with the activities of the department and the educational process.
2. Strengthening communication with parents through the AVN portal was established.
3. Students' behavior and responsibility for learning will increase.
4. Understanding in the direction of religious tolerance and civility will be strengthened.
