Kalmurzayeva, conducted a master class on the topic “The Dash Between the Subject and the Predicate” in the 8th grade of Secondary School No. 9 named after R. Sanatbaev. Goal: To develop students’ ability to correctly place a dash between the subject and the predicate and to improve their skills in analyzing sentence structure.

  • Theoretical block: Short, visual explanation — when the dash is used… A brief reference table.
  • Practical part: Pair work — cards, slide, cinquain, Venn diagram, role-playing activities, mini-analysis.
  • Creative task: Presentation of 2–3 students’ works.
  • Reflection: “Traffic Light” method.
  • Summary of the master class.
  • Homework: Write a short text of 5–6 sentences, including 2 sentences that contain a dash between the subject and the predicate.
