Active Teaching Methods

On November 25, the Department of German Language and Interfaculty Foreign Languages of the “B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University” Scientific-Educational-Industrial Complex, Philology Institute, organized a methodological seminar titled “Active Teaching Methods.”

The seminar was conducted by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences S. Ch. Osmonalieva, who provided detailed explanations to the participants on the theoretical foundations of active teaching methods and ways to apply them in practice.

The purpose of the methodological seminar was to introduce effective methods aimed at using modern pedagogical technologies in the educational sphere, developing students’ thinking, activity, and independence. During the seminar, group tasks were performed, discussions were held, and question–answer sessions took place. Special emphasis was placed on developing students’ analytical thinking, creativity, and practical skills, as well as activating collaborative work between teacher and student to increase the effectiveness of learning.

The seminar was attended by the Director of the Philology Institute, Candidate of Philological Sciences Ch. A. Asylbekova, as well as teachers and students.

At the conclusion of the event, participants noted that the seminar made a significant contribution to improving the educational process and that the proposed methods are useful for practical implementation. The methodological seminar became an important event aimed at enhancing teachers’ professional development, improving their pedagogical skills, and introducing new approaches to organizing modern educational activities.
