“Developing Students’ Pedagogical Skills During Professional and Specialized Practice”

On November 18, 2025, the students of group NT-1-22 of the Department of German Language and Interfaculty Foreign Languages at the Institute of Philology of Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov conducted open lessons as part of their professional and specialized practice. During the practicum, the students completed their professional training at the “Deutsch Intensiv” learning center, where they strengthened their pedagogical skills through hands-on experience.

The open lessons conducted by the practicum students received special attention from the department’s administration. Methodological supervision was carried out by Associate Professor, Candidate of Philological Sciences Ch. Asylbekova, Senior Lecturer B. Moldobaeva, and Lecturer G. Myktarova, who attended the lessons and conducted evaluation procedures.

The open lessons were delivered at a high level: the students demonstrated their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, use modern teaching methods, show creativity in lesson organization, and effectively implement communicative techniques in teaching German. The students’ professional abilities, independent preparation, and responsible approach were highly appreciated by the department staff.

Ultimately, such practical sessions play an important role in shaping the students as future teachers and developing their professional competencies.
