BAS IT FEST – 2026: Student IT Competition Held at the ASU Department

On May 23, 2026, the Department of Automated Control Systems (ASU) of the Agrarian-Technical Institute organized and conducted the student IT competition “BAS IT FEST – 2026.” The event was initiated by the Head of the ASU Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Saparbek M. Azhykulov, and has become one of the department’s traditional platforms for developing students’ creative and professional potential in the field of information technology. The main objective of the competition was to enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills in information technology, support innovative ideas, and increase young people's interest in modern IT fields.

The competition covered various areas, including robotics, programming, web development, graphic design, 3D modeling, and other modern IT disciplines. More than 10 students participated in the event, including not only students of the Agrarian-Technical Institute but also students from Jalal-Abad College. The participants presented interesting projects and innovative solutions, demonstrating a high level of preparation, creativity, and technical competence. The projects were evaluated by a special jury, which determined the winners and prize holders of the competition.

During the award ceremony, the winners were presented with diplomas and certificates. The awards were presented by the Head of the ASU Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Saparbek M. Azhykulov, and the Director of the Agrarian-Technical Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Aziza B. Karbekova.

The “BAS IT FEST – 2026” competition contributed to the development of students’ professional competencies, the improvement of their IT skills, and the creation of opportunities for implementing promising ideas and projects.
