Youth and Sports – 2026

From May 12 to May 16, 2026, the Department of Automated Control Systems (ASU) of the Agrarian-Technical Institute held a sports tournament entitled “Youth and Sports – 2026.” The event was organized on the initiative of the Head of the ASU Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Saparbek M. Azhykulov, and has become one of the department’s traditional annual activities.

Nine academic groups of the department actively participated in the competition, demonstrating their strength, agility, team spirit, and unity. The tournament program included volleyball, football, tug-of-war, and arm wrestling competitions. The tug-of-war and arm wrestling events were organized separately for male and female participants.

The competitions were officiated by lecturers of the Department of Physical Education, Sports, and Pre-Military Training, ensuring a high level of organization and fair play throughout the tournament.

At the end of the event, the winners and prize holders were announced during a special award ceremony. Diplomas and prizes were presented by the Director of the Agrarian-Technical Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Aziza B. Karbekova, and the Head of the ASU Department, Associate Professor Saparbek M. Azhykulov.

The “Youth and Sports – 2026” tournament became one of the department’s significant events aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, strengthening friendship among students, and increasing young people’s interest in sports and physical activity.
