Methodological Meeting at the Department of Kyrgyz Language and Literature Aimed at Improving the Quality of Education

On October 31, 2025, the Department of Kyrgyz Language and Literature held a methodological meeting dedicated to enhancing the quality of education. The main goal of the event was to improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process and to raise students’ academic performance through the integration of modern pedagogical technologies.

Department lecturers G.Kalenbekova and U.Omurzakova delivered an insightful presentation on “Types and Technologies of Assessment.” They discussed in detail the scientific and methodological foundations of assessment criteria, as well as the features of diagnostic and formative assessment. In addition, they demonstrated the practical application of interactive teaching methods using Wordwall and Educaplay platforms, showcasing how these tools can make the learning process more engaging and increase students’ active participation.

In the second part of the meeting, G.Kudaykulova and Imaraly kyzy Nazbiike conducted a workshop on “Using Digital Platforms for Preparing Assessment Presentations.” They introduced participants to Canva, Gamma, and Kahoot, highlighting innovative approaches to visualizing educational materials and enhancing students’ motivation in the assessment process.

The methodological meeting became an important step toward the professional growth of the department’s faculty members, fostering the implementation of innovative technologies in the educational process and encouraging the exchange of pedagogical experience. As a result, the participants emphasized the importance of applying new methods and digital tools to improve the quality of education.
