Kyrgyz Komuz Day celebrated at JASU Kindergarten

On September 9, 2025, the kindergarten under Jalal-Abad State University celebrated Komuz Day. The event aimed to introduce children to the Kyrgyz national instrument and to instill cultural values from an early age.

During the celebration, teachers shared information about the history of the komuz and demonstrated its unique sound. Children sang songs, danced, and performed short concert pieces accompanied by the komuz. Fun games and creative performances were also organized to engage the little ones. Such events help promote national instruments and preserve cultural heritage for future generations.
