AN OPEN LESSON AT THE DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

On December 12, 2025, Nyshanbai kyzy Baiyma, a lecturer at the Department of English Language and Literature, conducted an open lesson for group FL-1-25 in the subject practical course of English on the topic “The Challenge of Running a Family Business.”The main aim of the lesson was to develop students’ reading comprehension skills and to analyze the challenges of managing a family business.During the lesson, students worked with the given text and discussed why family businesses often fail to succeed. In accordance with modern educational requirements, there were used interactive methods and digital tools , and new vocabulary was introduced through games and technology-based activities.Students prepared and delivered presentations, actively participated in discussions, and expressed their ideas freely in English. Group discussions and question-and-answer techniques were widely applied throughout the lesson.The open class was conducted at a high level, and students gained valuable knowledge and practical skills related to the topic.
