ON-THE-JOB TRAINING FOR FUTURE ENGLISH TEACHERS

Present time workplace-based learning plays a crucial role in the field of education and serves as one of the main directions in preparing highly qualified specialists. To support student interns in their practical training, on October 28, the lecturers of the Department of English Language and Literature at the Institute of Philology, N.A. Jumabekova and Nyshanbai kyzy Bayyma, conducted on-the-job training at Secondary School # 9. named after R.Sanatbaev. They delivered English language lessons for classes 6 “E” and 6 “Zh” on the topic “Auxiliary Verb To Be.” During the lessons, effective teaching methods were applied, providing a valuable learning experience for everyone involved. Such mentorship and collaboration not only facilitate the exchange of professional experience but also contribute to improving the quality of education and preparing future specialists for successful professional practice.The session demonstrated approaches to setting learning objectives, applying innovative teaching methods, developing modern teaching technologies, creating interactive tasks, and designing assessment criteria. In conclusion, the lesson was analyzed together with the school English teacher and student interns, and constructive feedback and recommendations were shared.
