Results of the Essay Competition on the Topic: “J. Abdrakhmanov – an Outstanding Public and Political Figure of Our Time and One of the Founders of Modern Kyrgyz Statehood”

The event was organized in order to implement the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, dated July 24, 2024, No. 205 “On the Founding Fathers of Modern Kyrgyz Statehood (Abdykerim Sydykov, Imanaly Aidarbekov, Jusup Abdrakhmanov, Abdykadyr Orozbekov, Ishenaly Arabaev),” as well as in accordance with letter No. 01-20/5582 from the Jalal-Abad City Mayor’s Office.

The main goal of the competition was to enhance students’ historical awareness, promote national values, and encourage in-depth study of the lives and activities of prominent figures who stood at the origins of Kyrgyz statehood.

In their essays, students explored the life path of Jusup Abdrakhmanov, his socio-political activities, and his contribution to the formation of modern Kyrgyz statehood, presenting thoughtful and well-reasoned ideas.

According to the results of the competition and based on the decision of the jury (No. 7), the following winners were determined:

1st place – Saikal Kazakbaeva, student of group KT-1-25 2nd place – Durdona Mekhmankhodjaeva, student of group RYAL-1-25 3rd place – Nurzhan Arkytbekova, student of group NT-1-25

Active participation was also shown by:

Ainazik Toktoralieva, student of group CHTk-2-25 Aelita Nuradilova, student of group LAk-2-25

The winners were awarded diplomas of the respective degrees.

Such events contribute to the development of students’ civic engagement, increase interest in history, and strengthen national identity.
