MASSIVE OPEN ONLINE COURSE (MOOC) HELD AT THE INSTITUTE OF PHILOLOGY

         From December 4 to 12, 2025, the Institute of Philology at Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov successfully organized a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) online.The invited guest lecturer wasProfessor Aigul Ermekovna Bizhkenova, Doctor of Philological Sciences from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. She delivered lectures on “Methodology of Modern Linguistic Theories”and“The Practical Significance of Digital Corpora and Corpus Linguistics.”The lectures covered methods, principles, and theoretical foundations used in linguistic research, as well as modern linguistic directions, including corpus linguistics, psycholinguistics, and sociolinguistics. Participants gained practical knowledge on studying language systematically and scientifically.The event was held via Google Meet, where participants actively asked questions and exchanged experiences. Faculty members from the Institute of Philology and the College of Foreign Languages participated in the course.At the conclusion, participants expressed their gratitude to Professor A.E. Bizhkenova for her informative lectures. The event was conducted at a high professional level and facilitated the exchange of academic and practical experience.
