VII School for Degree Researchers (Postgraduate studies and Doctoral Candidates)

On June 18–19, 2026, the VII School for Degree Researchers (Postgraduate studies and Doctoral Candidates) was held at the Osh Technological University named after M. M. Adyshev. The event was organized by the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Higher Attestation Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Osh Technological University.

The event brought together heads of higher education institutions and research organizations, doctoral candidates, postgraduate students, and degree researchers from across the country. Participants exchanged experiences on the training of scientific personnel, improving the quality of dissertation research, and addressing current issues in scientific activity.

Representatives of Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov took an active part in the event. In particular, the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Guldana Samidinovna Tokoeva, delivered a presentation at the plenary session, sharing the university’s experience in training highly qualified researchers, developing the integration of science and education, and supporting young scholars.

As part of the school’s program, participants attended lectures and practical workshops on the following topics:“Artificial Intelligence and the Originality of Scientific Works,” “Selecting a Dissertation Topic and Identifying Its Scientific Novelty,” “Practical Aspects of Writing and Submitting Scientific Articles to SCOPUS-Indexed Journals,” as well as the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission and the organization of dissertation research.

Postgraduate students from Jalal-Abad State University also actively participated in all sessions of the school, gaining valuable knowledge on conducting scientific research, preparing dissertations, and publishing articles in international scientific journals.

At the conclusion of the event, participants were awarded certificates. In addition, an excursion was organized to the Sulaiman-Too National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex to familiarize attendees with the historical and cultural heritage of the city of Osh.

Such events contribute to strengthening the scientific potential of young researchers, expanding scientific cooperation, and promoting the development of science in the country.
