Essay Competition on the Development of the Film Industry at JASU Concludes and Winners Awarded

An essay competition organized by the Jalal-Abad Regional Film Directorate and the “Kod” Studio has concluded, and the winners were awarded. Students of Jalal-Abad State University actively participated in the competition, with nearly 400 students submitting their essays.

The main criteria for evaluating the essays included their educational value, depth of content, and relevance of ideas. Works that advanced to the next stage were selected based on their artistic quality, analytical ability, and the clarity of the author's position. Initially, the works of 90 students were highly evaluated and advanced to the final stage.

As a result, the essays of 12 students were selected as the best. Six of them received certificates of appreciation, while the remaining six were awarded cash prizes.

The main goal of the competition was to promote Kyrgyz cinema, develop the creative thinking of young people, and encourage their involvement in the film industry.

The organizers also noted that in the future they plan to cooperate closely with Jalal-Abad State University and organize master classes and creative meetings related to the film industry for students.
