Two Start-up Projects of JASU Became Winners of the “Student Startup – 2025” Pilot Program

Today, on March 10, an award ceremony for the winners of the “Student Startup – 2025” pilot program was held at the Innovation Center under the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was attended by the Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Gulzat Isamatova. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of supporting student initiatives and fostering innovative thinking and entrepreneurship among young people. The Minister noted that such programs provide opportunities for students to implement promising ideas and contribute to the development of the country’s innovation ecosystem.

Gulzat Isamatova congratulated the startup winners, wished them success in implementing their projects, and expressed confidence that the presented startups would contribute to the development of science, technology, and the economy of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the results of the competitive selection, 10 student startup projects from the country’s leading universities received grant support.

Among them were the winning projects of Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov: • “Self-sustaining water-gravity autonomous micro hydropower plant” project; • “Art Therapy for the Elderly” startup project.

The winners were awarded certificates for monetary prizes.
