Scientific and Practical Conference Dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of State and Political Figure E. Uzakbaev
International scientific conferences provide a great opportunity to gain experience and guidance for researchers. Such an opportunity was created today for the faculty and students of Jalal-Abad State University. An international scientific and practical conference was held at the university in honor of the 70th anniversary of Emilbek Uzakbaev, a state and political figure, and an Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the international scientific and practical conference entitled “Regional Governance and Agricultural Policy: Past Path and Perspectives”, the honorary title of Professor of JASU was awarded to Elena Popkova from Russia, Shakhlo Ergeshova from Uzbekistan, and historian Kyyas Moldokasymov.
During the event, Emilbek Uzakbaev was awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen of Jalal-Abad Region” for his contributions to the country’s development and to the advancement of agriculture.
E. Uzakbaev can be recognized as a specialist who advanced agriculture and as one of the best governors of Naryn Region. His career and achievements serve as an example for the younger generation. The conference included plenary and sectional sessions.
Researchers from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan who studied Uzakbaev’s work were specially invited to the international scientific and practical conference. Bringing together experienced specialists and students on one platform creates conditions for future research at JASU.
It should be noted that Emilbek Uzakbaev was a former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Governor of Naryn Region, Minister of Agriculture, and held several other high-ranking state positions.
